PAYMENT PERFORMANCES OF ITALIAN COMPANIES

Tuesday, April 26, 2016

What is the current situation of payment performances of Italian companies? What are the payment dynamics within each sector? How is commercial credit management evolving?

According to the Payment Study conducted by CRIBIS D&B, updated at the end of March 2016, serious delays have decreased for most Italian companies: a good sign for Italy’s business system that has denoted a lower difficulty for companies to meet payment terms.

The data, updated up to the first trimester of 2016, tells us that Business services and the Manufacturing sector are among the best performing sectors, while below average and among the worst performers we find Retailers, Hotel Restaurants and Bars and Retail department stores as well.

What can be immediately observed is how companies that have improved the credit commercial management, through a constant monitoring of the portfolio client and through the collection and sharing of information; are the same that are nowadays equipped with the most advanced tools in order to face the economic recovery with more confidence.

Watch the interview to Marco Preti, CEO of CRIBIS D&B.
