Download the complete analysis on bankruptcies in Italy, updated to Q4 2015. The analysis conducted by CRIBIS D&B shows a general decrease of Italian companies’ bankruptcies for the whole 2015. Bankruptcy cases in 2015 have affected 14,416 companies, 1,189 less than in 2014 with a total of -7.6% y-o-y.

On regional basis, Lombardy is confirmed at the top for companies which filed for bankruptcy with 3,015 cases in 2015. It is followed by Lazio (1,621 companies) and Veneto (1,348).

Finally, retail trade is the sector most affected with 4,569 bankruptcy cases (-1.6% y-o-y respect 2014), followed by Construction (3.071 cases) and Service (3.053) sectors.
