Increase in reliable companies in Italy in 2016
Thursday, March 2, 2017CRIBIS Prime Companies, that is the companies which CRIBIS has assigned the highest level of reliability from a business relationship point of view, represent 7.6% of the total number of Italian companies. A percentage which is still low, but which has been continuously growing since 2010 when the share was 5.53%.
Since then to the present day, reliable companies have constantly been increasing, reaching a peak in December 2016. This is a good sign for our businesses, which are trying to get through the economic crisis, putting themselves forward as the ideal partners for doing business and growing operations.
From the snapshot taken by CRIBIS, the North East is the most reliable geographical area with an 11.86% share of the best business partners out of the total companies operating in the area. Next is the North West with 10.27%, Central Italy with 6.59%, and finishing with the South and Islands with only 3.29%.
Trentino Alto Adige, with 14.83% of CRIBIS Prime Companies, is the most reliable region in Italy. Veneto and Emilia Romagna are in second and third place, with 11.73% and 11.61%, respectively. At the bottom of the rankings are Campania (2.35%) and Calabria (2.90%), regions which are still having significant difficulties and are not as safe in terms of establishing business relationships.
