2016: the number of bankruptcies among companies continues to decrease
Friday, September 16, 2016Dun & Bradstreet realized the "Global Bankruptcy Report", an analysis about the bankruptcies' trend of companies in the world: thanks to the Dun & Bradstreet Worldwide Network, the alliance between the best local providers of business information, the Observatory collects data on 32 countries worldwide economies.
Despite the world economy still suffers from the financial crisis of 2008-09 and the recovery is still fragile, the number of bankruptcies among companies continues to decrease. Looking at the 32 countries included in the Observatory bankruptcies decreased significantly for 20 of the countries, among which we can enter the United States and Japan and, to a slower rate, even Germany.
Among the under-performing, mainly due to the high exposure to China, we find the countries of the Asia-Pacific region such as Australia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Vietnam and Taiwan.
